Simulation of the Heat Transfer This example shows the results of the numerical calculations of the flow field and heat transfer in a gas turbine combustor. The combustor investigated in this study has an annular design and the airflow is divided to a primary and a secondary air stream. The figure shows the temperature distribution at a cross-sectional plane, at which the eight circumferentially positioned secondary air holes are located. |
